Hey all, just a quick update on ling and me.. Ling has started her new job in a company in Kepong this Monday (21/7) and is staying with her college friends in Kelana Jaya now. As for me, my school is starting a new semester on Tuesday (22/7). I have just gotten my results as well of having 4 distinctions in all 4 subjects last semester, am very satisfied and will try my best in the coming semester. ^_^

Hi All, Uncle Sam had official opt for Early Retirement starting Today, 10th June 2008 after 25 years of services with my company.

1st part of life (25 years) passed fast from growing up till schooling/college,

2nd parts of life (25 years) spent working to earn a living for building up a family, house/cars, envision children growing up, support children education, support all NG Family next generation to have a head start in soceity as Contributing Responsible Citizen and saving enough for retirement.

Now 3rd parts of life, Let Go In Buddhism "Fan Sia"
Drop all those un-due working life worries, confine offices life, rat race/politicing, and also cherish those many happy moment too.
Wishes/Let - Children & NG's next generation to grow / develop / independent.
Personally - To explore / materialize things that are wishes to do during early years plans but did not make it due to other committment/excuses. Explore Buddhism Teaching, Travelling, Hobby, What is life in outside world & To Do List. Lastly, to find out what is really meaningful apart from Eat, Drink, Play. Joys with Mahjong?

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and started to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.' The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things - God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions. If everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else - the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Hello....Share out some picture of last weekend.
We went to eat Steamboat at Semenyih. Man Suk treated cause he won Mahjong last week. Hohoho...He ordered so many side dishes for us. SoooooooOOoo Nice!

- Popo is as healthy as before but i think she gained weight too.
- Uncle Eddie went travel last few week. (forgot wheres the location ady,benny update)
- Er pek meh and Ping J went to Bangkok Island as well.
- Tai pak and tai pak meh is doing well and pak meh planning for travel i think.
- 4 suk renovated their house last few month, sooo nice!
- Joan was busying for her kawad-kaki team last month and she won champion for
school representitive and 1st-runner up for state de. She dark like those a-nene and
seldom back to popo house loh.
- Benny and Yuan also busying for their new life in College. Yuan just started her studying in
The One Academy on this 15th of May. Yuan and Ni staying at SS12 now.
- Yuan got her very freshy Car licence and she started to drive on the road. Nini ever made her
cried while driving, don't really know what's nini said to her. Hahaha...
- Eh, no news from onn koko lately....
- I'm finding job now and having at least 2 interview per week, and still waiting for their respond
or they offer me but im not really fitted with their job scope.
- Oh well....not much news i think....so ill stop for now. Let's enjoy the pictures below bah~

Private Pilot License!!

Almost 1 month no1 updating this blog,so my turn to update.
Yew!!update la!!!Ling,update la.!!!
Finally I passed my Private Pilot License(PPL) on my second attempt!
I was so disappointed and upset to failed my first attempt last week!
But finally,I managed to pass it.
Next achievement is 7 Commercial Papers and CPL test.try my best to get CPL asap.
The passed of PPL happiness cant stay long,bcuz I'm Sitting a commercial paper on monday (28 April).
Studies are always not enough,so....go study!!!haha.

Dear all, just for infor.. DON'T TAKE PANADOL AND PANADOL ACTI FAST AND PANADOL SOLUBLE especially if you have gastric problems

FYI... One real story from a friend....

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital is planning to set up a database of its patient. And he knows some of the doctors quite well. The doctors used to tell him that whenever they have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL (PARACETMOL).

In fact,they will turn to Chinese Herbal Medicine or find other alternatives. This is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor, Panadol will reside in the body for at least 5 years. And according to the doctor, there used to be an incident where an air stewardess consumes a lot of panadol during her menstrual as she needs to stand all the time. She's now in her early 30's, and she needs to wash her kidney (DIALYSIS) every month.

As said by the doctor that whenever we have a headache, that's because it is due to the electron/Ion imbalance in the brain. As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). We all will fall ill as we aged, for woman, we would need to go through childbirth. Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial amount of Panadol (Pain Killer) when you need to have a surgery or operation, you will need a much more amount of general anesthetic to numb your surgical pain than the average person who seldom or rarely takes Panadol . If you have a very high intake of Panadol throughout your life (Migraine, Menstrual cramps) it is very likely that normal general anesthetic will have no effects on you as your body is pumped full with panadol and your body is so used to pain killer that you would need a much stronger pain killer, Morphine??

Have you ever, at any one time, had the feeling that life is bad, real bad,and you wish you were in another situation?You find life make things difficult for you, work sucks, life sucks, everything seems to go wrong...

Read the following story... it may change your views about life:After a conversation between two friends, one said despite taking 2 jobs, he brings back barely above 1K per month, but he is happy as he is. Now! how can he be as happy as he is, considering he has to skimp his life with the low pay to support a pair of old parents, in-laws, a wife, 2 daughters and the many bills of a household.

He explained that it was through one incident that he saw in India that happened a few years ago when he was really feeling low and touring India after a major setback. He said that right in front of his very eyes he saw an Indian mother chop off her child's right hand with a chopper. The helplessness in the mother's eyes, the scream of pain from the innocent 4-year-old child haunted him until today.

You may ask why did the mother do so; had the child been naughty, had the child's hand been infected?? No, it was done for two simple words- --TO BEG!

The desperate mother deliberately caused the child to be handicapped so that the child could go out to the streets to beg. Taken aback by the scene, he dropped a piece of bread he was eating half-way. And almost instantly, a flock 5 or 6 children swamped towards this small piece of bread which was covered with sand, robbing bits from one another. The natural reaction of hunger.

Stricken by the happenings, he instructed his guide to drive him to the nearest bakery. He arrived at two bakeries and bought every single loaf of bread he found in the bakeries. The owner was dumbfounded but willingly sold everything. He spent less than $100 to obtain about 400 loaves of bread (this is less than $0..25 per loaf) and spent another $100 to get daily necessities. Off he went in the truck full of bread into the streets. As he distributed the bread and necessities to the children (mostly handicapped) and a few adults, he received cheers and bows from these unfortunate. For the first time in his life he wondered how people can give up their dignity for a loaf of bread which cost less than $0.25.

He began to tell himself how fortunate he is. How fortunate he is to be able to have a complete body, have a job! , have a family, have the chance to complain what food is nice and what isn't nice, have the chance to be clothed, have the many things that these people in front of him are deprived of...

Now I begin to think and feel it, too! Was my life really that bad? Perhaps... no, I should not feel bad at all... What about you? Maybe the next time you think you are, think about the child who lost one hand to beg on the streets.

"Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, it is the realization of how much you already have."

When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that! we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Around 1 week past from i left Malaysia for my Flight training.
Everything fine here,not used tat got no rice here.

I m staying in a house with 3 Malaysian n 1 from India.

Hi all, I chat with Yee Boy this morning over the net when he was at school and here's some updates from him.

His housemate is a girl from Iceland. There is no Internet connection at his place but having a lot of electronics devices for cooking, e.g microwave, fridge, stove, utensils...etc except rice cooker. Yee Boy has cooked for 1 or 2 times at home and he might be getting a rice cooker later because he missed eating rice.
Yesterday, Yee Boy went to the city of Brisbane and had lunch there and also "da pao" dinner back. He said that the take away is so huge that he couldn't finish it. haha. He has also bought some apples and strawberries from the market and he said they are pretty sweet.
He is now attending class at school and he has a flying class at 1pm today, pretty fast ya..

Hey.. long time didn't update what's happening in Mantin. Perhaps yew yew thought we are having Chinese philosophy class in Mantin on the few posts that recently posted. :P

1. Popo and Er Bak's house has just taken up new house keepers. Dorcus and Dewi has gone back to Indonesia upon completion on their 2 yrs stay in Msia. Er gu, Ling and me took turn to accompany popo and fed doggies, cat and poultry. Soemtimes popo helped to feed the poultry and we are happy to see popo exercised. ^_^

2. Yee boy is flying over to Australia for his flying school in Queensland on Sunday July 29th morning 10am. He is now pretty busy to attend farewell party everyday from his friends, which started 2 weeks ago. haha..

3. Er bak has gone for a 2-week buddha camp in Bangkok since last week. And will stay in Bangkok for another week to see the city inside-out.

4. Tai pak and tai pak meh are busy supervising the renovation of their new house and according to tai pak meh, their doggies have been trained to be very discipline to not cross over to the new house compound. hehe..

5. Onn gor gor has gone to Shen Zhen, China for his first business trip on July 20th for 3 days and coming back on July 22nd.

6. Popo is gaining weight, latest reading is 90kg, which has increased 4kg since we last measured. We'll try to reduce popo's diet if possible.

7. Benny and Yuan2 are preparing for SPM trial, and Joan for PMR for these last few months, we wish them best of luck.

8. Ling Ling attended her very first interview, she was having stomach-ache on that day, according to her she felt fire burning in the stomach. lol. "Ken Ciong" i guess.

9. Popo them plan to go back to Hometown(tong san) in China on November, not sure who will be going yet.

10. I'm applying Master degree in Australia, coincidently in Queensland too. Although the application hasn't had any feedback yet, but Yee Boy has already started to worry. lol..

世人都道神仙好，惟有功名忘不了；

初读“好了歌”，是上初中的时候，当时就觉得说的好，
但对“了”并没有深刻的认识，觉得出了家就是“了”就是“好”。

及至从学校跨入社会，才逐渐知道这功名利禄娇妻儿孙对人的诱惑之大，
不是说想“了”就能“了”的。

我也曾从俗入流，为有个好职位或加薪机会而奋斗，这中间有对社会价值体现的追求，当然更有提高个人生活质量的物质追求。

某一个目标的实现总会或多或少带给自己满足感成就感，但理想在现实之中总会有碰壁甚至流产的时候，凡夫俗子，当然不会因此就大彻大悟，像甄士隐一样出家了事，顶多是痛苦一阵子，痛苦过后也不会轻易了事：总还想再搏一回！

我想正因为社会的主流是知“好”不知“了”，人类才能在很多方面有更快的进步吧。物欲横流的时代，凡人的家庭生活，有很多内在外在的因素影响，有离有弃已是正常现象。夫妻之间难免会有些磕碰，倒不必因此就对婚姻完全失望。

在一起的时候就应该互相关心、照顾、扶助，但从人性的角度考虑，也不必强求男人或女人做贞夫烈女从一而终。难道说预见了将来的离弃，现在就开始冷漠以对？或者干脆就拒婚拒生，一了百了？

人心是向下的，关心儿孙多于父母，本属正常。不孝子孙也只是社会的极少数，
也不要因为看到有几个不孝子孙就先凉了自己做个好父好母的心。

前些天看到宋代诗人杨万里送给朋友德轮行者的一首诗：

沥血抄经奈若何，十年依旧一头陀。
袈裟未着愁多事，着了袈裟事更多。

忽然明白堪破红尘入空门，原来空门并不空：做了和尚还是有从沙弥到方丈三六九等的区别的！近又看到报道，称少林寺的武僧们开公司搞演出，随红尘滚滚，就更觉得“了”了世事也没有出家为“了”的必要了，毕竟寺院也是地处人间的寺院，隔绝不了红尘的侵扰。

《小窗幽记》有：

“佛只是个了仙，也是个了圣。人了了不知了，不知了了是了了；若知了了，便不了。”

意指：佛是个了却尘俗的神仙，也是个善于了却烦恼的圣人。人们虽然聪明，却不知该了却一切烦恼，不知凡事放下便已无事；如果心中还有放下的念头，便是还未完全放下。

“好”即是好， “了”却有“了结”、“了解”两层含义。我不是活神仙，名利会带来烦恼，家庭也会有烦扰，我了了；然而这两者予我都是不能放下的。看来我辈“槛外人”等，非上上智，无了了心，也只能做个“酒肉穿肠过，佛祖心中留”的未了之人了。

“命由己作，福由心生”，但求能以出世的态度做人，以入世的态度做事，常能庸人自悦也就好了！

- I am responsible for my behavior and choices I make in life.

Firstly, I am so excited on the Ng's tees.. good job guys..

Glad that mom brought me my previous CNY dress to me. hehe.. gonna wear it on "Nian Chu Yi" and go "Bai Nian" at some aunties' house here and get ang pao.. :D

It's been a while since my last post, it is because i am so busy lately to settle my flight home and also checking on website often to plan for my vacation month on April before i come back to Msia.

Dear all, i'm coming back around May 5th to Msia and I've book my flight with Au Pair in America. Exact date and time to be confirmed. Now i still have 2 months in Florida, I will be leaving Florida on Apr 10th and complete my year as an au pair. Then i'll be given roughly 4 weeks to travel around The US in April.

As i still have my leave days left here, i am going to Cancun, Mexico on Feb 22nd to 27th backpack on my own. Flight and hostel booked and just yet to pack my luggage. On March, i plan to go to Canada on mar 13th to 18th, probably on my own again. if it is too expensive, i might need to cancel the trip.

In April, I will be going to few places like Boston, New York City, New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco & Los Angeles. All at friends' place, so save accomodation money and food except the trip to Hawaii.. Am now searching day & nigth for the cheapest flights or bus shuttle to places.

I will be flying back from Los Angeles in May... but my heart already flew back to Mantin now for CNY.. haha.. hope u guys feel me there.. ciao for now.

Each Ng's member will receive 2 pcs of shirt. For Gentlemen 1 red 1 yellow, for Ladies 1 red 1 pink mini-polo. Perhaps Red is our 'House Shirt' and Pink/Yellow is the 'Away Shirt' like the soccer team they did? LoLz~!

The Behind Design

No as bad as Yeeboy indicated early on. For my own sense, It is just slightly bigger than i expected. If smaller will be better.

Hey All, Let get our CNY mood started !!

1. We will put up a 20 x 20 ft red/yellow color Canopy Tent just outside our shoplot. Cover one side with canvas & block the 4D neighbour view, so that we can have privacy from people peeping inside.

2. CNY Eve; Steamboat dinner, at the tent, with plenty of space outside shoplot. Perform Midnight Eve Preyer by Popo/Aunties outside the tent too, follow by all uncles friends "Chakap Chakap Session" Grand father & Grand Mother stories from 1950,60,70,80,90,2000,2001 till 2007. More Alcohol, more dumb jokes, more stories, politics Dr M Vs Abdullah Vs Anwar Vs Najib, old time stories catch frogs/snake ... ending with late night supper.

3. CNY 1st day; Er Ku special Vegeterian Dishes in the morning at Tent space too. Popo open CNY prayer & Uncles prayer to Temple & prayer to Late Kung Kung in the morning. Planning to fire some Fire Cracker, if anyone dare to light up. Most Important Moment Come; ANG POWs Time to all !!! after morning breakfast, Relatives & Friend visiting time 11.00am till 5.30pm, all kind of gambling / TV / DVD time. Dinner time BBQ !!! last till midnight, all are welcome party & free flow of drinks. Organizer Ling Ling Bravo!!!

4. CNY 2nd Day; Cooking Plan yet to be finalize by all Aunties, Breakfast ??? no plan yet, Lunch & Dinner no Plan Yet. Sharkfin soup should be good. Many will be visiting in law and more relatives / visitor coming. Activities will start only after 4.30pm till midnight. Free and easy for all. Drinks / Gamble / Movies...Etc

5. CNY 3rd Day; Missing In Action (MIA) plan, Er Pek going for diving, Uncle Sam Family to Penang, Uncle Clement xxx no idea, etc... Er Ku & Popo ??? Tai Pak guardian of house usually.

Yo, we had a very fantastic and joyful Christmas gathering ya. A number of food prepared by Sam pak Meh, Pak Meh cleaned up her place for this party, Onn koko bought a very nice X'mas tree, Tai pak prepared many types of drinks, Er gu made organic salad,Er pak meh brought over another BBQ stove and some utensils for BBQ, Uncle sam brought over 2 large boxes of red wine, Si suk meh prepare tauhu goreng, long ngan tauhu fa and various type of chilli sauce for BBQ, Nini and yuan yuan made Jelly and last ly, the attendance of all of you guys.

If required, take the bottle drink inside your handbag or finished the drink at one shot. In western country, girls dance with their bottle drink in their hand. [Hong] Xmas in Orlando

wow.. glad to hear that the party was good and merry. Heard from Yee Boy it has the most delicious BBQ food ever.. yum~

The X'mas was happening and lots of things to do, and lots of presents.. 2-3 weeks before Xmas, i have to get ready for everybody's gifts.. The list was a little scary.. Then some of the presents i put them under the Xmas tree in my host family's house, some i kept at home or put under friend's Xmas trees with name labeled on each and everyone. My Xmas stocking was hanged near the fireplace too. I din't do a good job of getting all the presents, i was still searching for presents 2 days before Xmas. :p It was long queue at all the shopping malls and many items were run out of order.

Then on 23rd Dec, I went to a party at friend's house and there around 15 ppl there. We drank, we played PS2 on projector screen, we ate, we sang and we did martial arts move outside the house when we were drunk.. hahaha... never have a funny night like this before.

On 24th, I had dinner at my host family house with their friends. They have Chinese food take away for the guests, i guess they r one and only one family in US to do like this.. lol.. They exchanged gifts with their friends and i got a pair of crogs shoes that night.(Those red rubber shoes that Er Gu wore be4) Santa came to our party and gave us some candies and he asked me to sit on his lap to take a picture, it was really funny..

On Xmas day, all the family members of my host family and me went to a restaurant in a hotel to have the Xmas brunch. It has tasty food and delicious dessert. After that, we came back to the house to exchange presents. I have got a bracelet, 24k real Aspen maple leave, photo frame, photo album, chocolate and several different cash card for movies, Starbucks and restaurant.. After that, i went to take a nap.. too tired. After that, i went to a Msian friend's house to eat dinner with them and we exchanged presents there too.. I got a perfume and bath foam from them.. it was fun too..

Today, 26th.. i started to go back to work.. ;-)

3 and a half weeks stay for my mom in Orlando felt so short.. like only 3 days she was here.. Glad that now she finally made home after the 60 hrs flight. I miss her now, it's so different with when u go back home and there is someone in your apartment to eat dinner with u and talk with u..

Anyway, my mom has had so much fun in here.. We went to Seaworld, Disney World(My friend gave us free tickets to go, even better :D), Miami, Key West, St. Augustine (Oldest city in the US) and around Orlando.. We were too busy all the time, coz i still worked when my mom is around, thus i don have time to update the blog.. :p

Yau & Gand Wallup 13 dishes & 1 Soup, just like coming out of prison people in Mangalore (larger Town), 2 hours drive away from Manipal.
Yau & Gang after their Block 3 Exam, all happily unwind with good food. All these fellas passed well for this exam.
Uncle Sam friends partying in "Bay Walk Manila" like Gurney Drive area, but additional with plenty of open air singers stage shows performance.
This is the enjoyment moment after hard day work, eating all those Phillipine dishes while watching the Singers Performing on stage. Guess what !! 5 of us, we ordered all the 25 different dishes on the Menu and really have a feast, Of course under company bill, lah.... Haha..

Hi All, Uncle Sam & family spent a week in Penang from 21st ~ 26th Oct. Some updates;

1. 21st Oct, Caught in a horrible trafic jam on our highway, usually take 4.5 hrs Sbn to Penang, it took me 8.5 hrs. When coming back on 26th, again 6.5 hrs.
2. Penang, still heaven for good foods, explore & try our some new dishes and places. Keow Teow Soup, Duck Meat Mee Soup, Prawn Mee, Curry Mee, Char Keow Teow, Yin Yong Mee, Loh Mee, Bak Kut Teh, Chicken rice, Tim Sim etc... Anyone care for a bowl man..??
3. However, Penang is lossing out with too many visitors and heavy traffic jam every where... This week is also the "Festival Of Nine Emperor God" everyone coming in to do prayer, Vegeterian Food Hawker Center mushrooming every corner of the streets. Hence, only way is to travel by motorbike. Another issue, it was raining heavy every evening too, wet holidays.
4. Ah Hsien having fun time with Cousins playing games on Gameboy & Computer after UPSR exam, Jun Jun (Ah Girl), having fun with Cousin sisters rooming shopping complex, buying new cloths spree & Karaoke joint. 4th Pak Mei, rooming around on motorbike with Uncle Sam for foods, doing prayers in temple and gambling away wih nieces & nephew. Ah Yau in India, having 4 days holidays too, but have to spend time studying for exam this week till next week. One of her cousin sister Ah Jane in Penang doing STPM also studying like days & nights too.
5. Back home in Mantin, old house already empty now but not tear down yet since 23rd Oct. Popo shifted to shoplot. The shoplot look very small & cramp after having such spacious old house. Popo complained not used to this new place, midnight 3.00am disturbed by News Paper Van delivery, and she felt sick for two days already. With many people coming into 4D neighbour shop, everyone just peek into our house just to see what is happening in our house. No Privacy, and Front Door have to be locked at all time, very hot, humid inside, with acho sound, when speaking loud.
6. Two dogs & Goldfishes had move to shoplot, but cat refuse to move, she like the old house. Chickens, Goose, other fishes, still in old house too. Empty space still used for parking motorbikes & Cars.
7. Latest by 2nd Er Pak, Bungalow Building plan have been changed from Double storey to Single storey. Hence, this will delay the Bungalow designing/building up plan by 5 months, ie by next year March~April'07 plan to start up building, and this will last for 8~9 mths. So we have to wait till early of 2008 then only can see the new bungalow.
8. Er Ku, started her retirement since 20th Oct 2006, nowaday spend more time driving Popo for breakfast and nearby sightseeing. Both of them are going for Japan Holiday on Early 10th Dec'06. Er Ku is still busy with her business Barley Green.
9. Ta Pak, collected a few durians from Orchard this few days, but mostly half ripe. If no body want to eat this durian, our Doggy Happy is just waiting to wallop all.
10. 3rd Pak, busy with his own travel agent business, operating in PD office and he just came back from Bangkok trip. He will be leading 2 trips to Beijing China in Dec'06. He just bought over 2Er Pak Big Kawasaki Motorbike.
11. New Village house is beautifully renovated by 3rd Pak Mei. Ah Ling/Ah Hong, you will be up to a suprise when you are back home. The maid Har Mui, is no more working with us, but she found a new job just a few doors away as Baby Sitter.
12. Lately, very few nieces & nephews are visiting Mantin, due to busy with exam, and no companions, all prefer to stay home alone... Sleeping !!!
13. Latest Gossip, Tai Ku's husband, have a new China Girl friend, age 30++, nowaday, at 57 years old mature/successful widow man also very Marketable. Both of them visited Mantin once to let Popo see and also spending honeymoon time in Penang too. Haha...
14. Tai Pak Mei, 4 puppies are divided as; One for Hong Kuku, One for Tai Pak Mei, One for Mantin Popo and last one sell to Onn Koko friend.

Dear all,

Hello! This is Ping writing in for the 1st time. It's so nice to see everyone's interesting comments and updates. Hong is having a great time in US. And Ah Soon is adjusting well to new life in UK. Meanwhile, Ah Ling is a seasoned veteren living and enjoying life in UK now.

I've just completed one gruelling year of housemanship. I'm so happy that this 1 year 'torture' is finally over. Good news is I'm going to start my 2nd year of working life as a medical officer in a new hospital in Sungai Buloh. It's a brand new hospital just opened on 20 Sept 2006.

I'm looking forward to a better quality of life. Surviving 1 year of housemanship is more than enough. There were times when i had to stay awake the entire night and continue working the following day. That's roughly working for 36 hours nonstop. No fun at all lah. Working insanely long hours for many days at a stretch can be really exhausting. thanks to home cooked food, herbal tonic and plenty of family love & care, i only fell sick 2 times during this tough one year.

ONe thing I really miss is waking up late in the morning without the alarm clock ringing. that's a privilege which i long for. During this one year, I have to wake up every morning at 5.30 am and arrive at work at 7 am daily. On a normal working day, if i'm not oncall, I finish work by 7 pm. That's 12 hours work.

If I'm oncall that night. I'll be working from 7 am today until 7pm the next day. Total time 36 hours in hospital. By the time it's over, all i want is to go home and sleep. So tired... no life.

Luckily can come home and play with all my dogs. They are such a stress reliever. Very joyful to play with them. :)

Dear All,

4 days /3 nights in Mantin is my weekly routine into my retirement schedule.
Plus another day trip on Sunday to play mahjong.
There are 3 air cond. rooms in the shop house where popo & the maid will be shifting over by the week of 23 October. However , I have being sleeping over alone in the shophouse for the past two weeks.
Life in Mantin begins with a morning call by popo at about 7.15 am.Wash up , then the next moment ,riding the motorbike to the hotspring for a sauna dip.
At times , there are 2 or 3 bathers like me but most of the time ,I am alone which give me a serene place to practice meditation besides the pool.This ,I regard as the
" best of the best " which I yearned / craved for in the past many years.
After breakfast, normally a bowl of wan ton mee ( hey, anyone miss the noodle ? ), it's newspaper reading time.
By 10.30 am , if I am not too lazy, I will be in the fruit orchard till 12.30 pm.
Two hours of changkul & resting in the orchard is enough to sweat till the face towel need to squeeze dry twice not to mention that the whole tee shirt is soaking wet. Lunch is eating outside with popo. Remember the hakka "lat - tong " in Semengeh
& the batkutteh & chicken rice in Mantin? ( hey,are you controlling your saliva from oozing out ?)
Afternoon is siesta time till 3.30 pm follow by another round of changkul & resting
in the orchard till 5.30 pm.By 6.00 pm, it's hotspring dip again .
Dinner is either eating out or popo 's cooking.
Follow by beer time & watching tv or reading till I retire for the day.

Ah Hong: Theme Parks in Orlando

Hi all..

Recently i've been to many theme parks in Orlando, both with host family and au pair friends. I went to Discovery Cove 2 weeks ago and got to touch sting ray and swam with them. Then last weekend i went to Disney world in early morning to help out for a charity run for breast cancer. we gave out water to the runners, it was fun. ^_^ On Sunday i went to Sea World and saw killer whale show, shark & dolphin show and got to touch dolphin too.. Then at night i went to Universal Orlando for the Holloween Horror Night. There were ppl in costums walking around to scare you and we also went into several haunted houses.

Lastly i had to thanks against all who helped me with my journey (first uncle, second uncle, third uncle, fourth uncle and my father) oh ya Onn brother, Hong sister, Ling sister and lastly grandma..... i think i can manage to take care myself.. so there is nothing to be worry about.. Hi All NGs family member, Happy Mooncake festival tomorrow. Ah Soon glad you are fine in Hull UK, keep in contact. Some update;

1. Yes, strong man Ah Yau hospitalized in India since 2nd/Oct ~ today still inside hospital now, for Severe Viral Infection outbreak, affecting so far 8 students in Manipal of his group. Headache, vomitting, high fever are the symptoms. Ah Yau have recovered now but still some fever, needed more check up, most likely he will be discharged on 7 or 8/Oct. Daily, he is calling home to update. Other students also admitting now & then. Ai ya, forgotten, Ah Yau mummy not around but still many Beautiful Nanny in India College taking care of him with boiled porriage daily... How sweet & lucky...

2. Er Pek full time farmer staying in Mantin manning Durian orchard for last two weeks.

3. Mun Sok & 3rd Pek, went to Changmai for Holiday cum golfing since 2nd/Oct for a few days.

4. Mantin home, almost emptying all barang to shoplot, Raya time total shift over.

5. 3rd Pek May's house in new village slight renovation now to beutify and change Feng Sui man......, probably preparing / waiting for Ah Hong or Ah Ling or Ah Sin to Kahwin lah ..... haha..

6. Ta Pek, Hiby female dog got pregnant again, many free puppies for dog lovers, but must met Ta Pek criteria, Taker must love dog & sleep together, love dog shit & pissing .... Haha...

7. Tomorrow, Uncle Sam & family going to Penang to attend Bro in Law 25th Wedding Anniversery, Party time, Plenty of hawker foods but still worrying for Ah Yau in hospital too. Ah Yau siad he is alright now.

8. Popo still going strong for travelling fun, last weekend go with Er Ko to Tangkat Johor, for day trip. This time, Er Ko insisted she bring along her portable Toilet bowl in the car.. Haha.. Or else who will carry her out from toilet with no sitting bowl...?

Movie time from Ah Yau

After so many serious post of Foo Soon goin UK, take a break. Let me show u all the movie done by my friends and I. The movie is for Orientation for our juniors who just arrived a fortnight ago. It's show's the life of a medical student in Manipal. On top of it, it is funny. Hopefully u all will enjoy the movie!

The length of the movie is too long to be uploaded to Youtube. So we have to break it in 2 part. Enjoy!

Hi all, it's ah ling here..
Ah soon has arrived safely today.
Some updates about today's journey:

1) 4pm, i arrived at Heathrow airport and i'm worried about i might be late, but i felt released when i got the phone call from ah soon and told me that he still stuck in the queue of custom check up.

2) 5.30pm, He finally came out and i saw him after one and a half hour. Then, we went to buy subway ticket to go home.

3) 6pm, We spent around half an hour for the queue for buying ticket and simultaneity we heard an announcement about they had suspended the underground service at this station. So we took another way to go home with 15 mins extra time.

4) 8.15pm, We reached home at last and we had conversation before we sleep. He complained about he never felt this tired for his entire life.

5) 9pm, He felt asleep without taking shower, i guess he must be really really tired.

I'm going to send him to Kingcross station by tomorrow morning although he is not willing to accept my favor. Though the first day for him was difficult but i guess everything will be alright once he adapts to the weather and the life style over here.

On the way to home, he looked bored and tired.

He seems like falling asleep inside the subway.

Yeah, we reached home at last at 8.15pm.

It's now 11pm, Goodnight to everyone and don't worry about ah soon because he will be fine.

The South East Asia region officer at the International Office is called Cecilia. Pls let her know when you are flying and when you will be reaching Hull as she's the one in contact with MSA. Pls also let Melania knows approximately what time you will be arriving in hull once you know ur train schedule, they have offered to meet you up upon your arrival at the university main building to help out.
